Family/ Surgery

I am so thankful that we have family close by and they are willing to help out when needed. I don't know how we would do it with 3 young kids and not have family near by. Josiah showed up today with a massive cold, just what we need the day before Surgery. Between Jodi, Cody and Ed they are taking care of him and he will not be here the next few days. Hannah and Evan will be over at their house for the next several days and you bet Hannah is excited about staying at Aunties house. The past several times Evan has spent the night Hannah has said Hannah aunties house too! I just put her down for her nap and she reminded me again that she is going to aunties for nigh night.

Surgery is less than 24 hours away and I am more nervous than Caden (of course, he doesn't know what is happening). We know that the Lord has him in his hands and will be protecting him. It is still a very scary thought to think that your baby will be put under and you will be in a different part of the hospital not able to protect him.

The surgery is scheduled for first thing tomorrow morning and should last anywhere from 4 -8 hours. Depending on what she can get done and all she has to work with will determine the extent. We are praying that she will be able to do the lip and palate plus an ENT will be putting tubes in and doing an ear exam.
